GO Automation & Control Limited delivers a range of automation solutions for systems integration, process control, manufacturing and utility companies.
We offer a broad range of products and services varying from contract engineering services, through to turnkey project enginering. We have completed successful projects with companies ranging from small enterprises to large blue chip companies, and project values ranging from £2.5k to £120k.
Originally started in borrowed office and worksop space, we have grown through diversification and organic expansion. To assist this growth we now lease a 1200 sq ft facility in South Yorkshire, close to the M1 to provide good communication links throughout the UK. The facility is home to our engineering design office and laboratory.

To achieve this we have adopted the following design principles:

Our systems development is executed to to a Verification and Validation development life cycle.

We utilise object oriented software design and structured design methodologies.

Our software is written using a systematic top down approach. We never start writing code first, rather we develop a design specification from our customer's requirements and only when we are satisfied that you are happy with this will we commence coding.

We utilise pseudo-code and state transition diagrams/sequential flow charts to accurately detail control functionality.

We have developed standard software subroutines (PLC Function Blocks and SCADA/HMI Objects and Faceplates) for the major hardware platforms, which enables consistency.

We never let software or control panels off our premises without them being tested.
